1. Service Scope and Eligibility
InterviewCastle provides professional interview-readiness evaluation and feedback services. Current services are strictly tailored for candidates with 2 to 10 years of professional technical experience. We do not support or accept bookings from:
- Freshers or candidates with under 2 years of professional experience.
- Candidates with above 10 years of professional experience.
- Candidates seeking non-technical, spoken-English, HR-only or general aptitude coaching.
InterviewCastle reserves the right to refuse, pause or cancel any booking if we determine the candidate does not fit our service scope.
2. No Job, Hiring Guarantees or Affiliations
Critical Service Limitation: InterviewCastle is strictly an educational evaluation and feedback service. We are not a recruitment agency, job placement firm, referral service or job board.
Our feedback and reports represent informed professional opinions based solely on the candidate's performance during the live session. We do not guarantee, promise or warrant:
- Any job offers, placements, interview invitations or referrals.
- Any specific salary increases, career promotions or hiring outcomes.
- Any performance outcomes in your actual interviews with employers.
No Affiliation: InterviewCastle is not affiliated with, endorsed by or representing any employers, tech companies, recruitment agencies or hiring platforms. Any reference to company names (e.g., Google, Meta) during evaluation is strictly for contextual role-based testing and does not imply any connection or endorsement.
The final hiring decision rests entirely with your prospective employers. You are solely responsible for your job search, interview preparation and employment outcomes.
3. Payments, Taxes and Billing
All payments must be processed securely through official InterviewCastle or Emizhi Digital payment links (powered by Razorpay) loaded on our website.
- Listed prices are inclusive of GST. GST invoices are available on request by emailing us.
- To prevent fraud, do not complete payments via external, third-party or unverified links shared outside our official domain. We are not responsible or liable for payments made on fraudulent platforms.
- Bookings may be suspended if a payment cannot be verified or if the email address used for payment does not match the booking registration.
4. Cancellations, Rescheduling and Refunds
By purchasing our services, you agree to our policies which are detailed in full on our dedicated policy pages:
- Cancellation & Rescheduling: You may request one free reschedule or cancel your session if you contact us at least 24 hours prior to the scheduled start time. Late arrivals may result in shortened sessions. If you miss your scheduled session (no-show) without 24 hours' prior written notice, your session fee is forfeited and cannot be refunded. Rebooking a missed session may require an INR 500 fee. See our full Cancellation & Rescheduling Policy.
- Refund Guarantee: We offer a 24-hour satisfaction guarantee refund for the evaluation service fee (excluding hiring outcomes). To claim a refund, email us within 24 hours after the live session is completed. Approved refunds are processed back to the original payment method. To prevent system abuse, refund claims are strictly limited to **one (1) refund per customer or email address in any 12-month period**. See our full Refund Policy.
- Recording Add-on Failure: If the optional session recording add-on is purchased but the recording cannot be provided or delivered due to technical errors, recording omissions or platform issues, we will refund only the recording add-on fee (INR 1,500). The base evaluation service fee remains valid and is not eligible for refund under this specific condition.
5. Code of Conduct and Integrity
InterviewCastle exists to help candidates prepare honestly. We have zero tolerance for dishonesty or unethical behavior:
- We do not assist with, support or tolerate cheating, proxy interviews, impersonation or hidden live support during real job interviews.
- We do not solve, assist with or review active, ongoing or pending employer evaluations, coding assessments or take-home tests. You warrant that all materials you submit or discuss are for practice purposes only and do not violate any employer, university or third-party honor code or non-disclosure agreement (NDA).
- Candidates must not use covert AI text generators or other unauthorized assistance during our evaluation sessions.
- Candidates are strictly prohibited from recording, streaming or distributing the audio or video of evaluation sessions without our explicit, prior written consent.
If we suspect any violation of this code of conduct, we reserve the right to cancel the session immediately without a refund.
6. Intellectual Property Rights and Report Usage
All materials, including but not limited to website content, logos, design templates, mock interview questions and feedback methodologies, are the exclusive intellectual property of Emizhi Digital Private Limited.
Upon completion of your service, InterviewCastle grants you a personal, limited, non-exclusive, non-transferable and non-sublicensable license to use your written evaluation report for your personal career preparation.
Usage Risks: If you choose to share your written evaluation report with potential employers, recruiters or on public/social platforms, you do so entirely at your own risk. InterviewCastle disclaims all liability for any consequences, including but not limited to loss of employment opportunities, reputational damage or employer action.
Revocation: Upon requesting a refund under our 24-hour guarantee, all licenses to the evaluation report are instantly revoked. You must immediately delete and destroy all digital and physical copies of the report.
7. Indemnification
You agree to defend, indemnify and hold harmless Emizhi Digital Private Limited, its directors, officers, employees, evaluators and agents from and against any and all claims, damages, obligations, losses, liabilities, costs or debt and expenses (including but not limited to attorney's fees) arising from:
- Your use of our website, services or evaluation reports.
- Your breach of any term of these Terms.
- Any third-party claim alleging that your sharing, publishing or use of the evaluation report caused damage, reputational loss or liability to a third party.
8. Disclaimers and Limitation of Liability
Our services are provided on an "as is" and "as available" basis. To the maximum extent permitted by applicable law, InterviewCastle disclaims all warranties, express or implied, including but not limited to fitness for a particular purpose or non-infringement.
In no event shall Emizhi Digital Private Limited, its directors, employees or evaluators be liable for any indirect, incidental, special, consequential or punitive damages, including without limitation loss of profits, career/job opportunities, interview failures, salary losses, data, use, goodwill or other intangible losses, resulting from your access to or use of (or inability to access or use) our services.
Our aggregate liability for any claim arising out of or relating to these Terms or our services shall not exceed the actual amount paid by you to InterviewCastle for the specific evaluation session giving rise to the claim.
9. Governing Law and Jurisdiction
These Terms and any dispute or claim arising out of or in connection with them shall be governed by and construed in accordance with the laws of India.
You agree that any legal action or proceeding arising out of or relating to these Terms shall be brought exclusively in the courts located in the State of Kerala, India.
10. Severability and Entire Agreement
Severability: If any provision of these Terms is found to be invalid, illegal or unenforceable by any court of competent jurisdiction, such provision shall be modified to the minimum extent necessary to make it valid and enforceable and the remaining provisions of these Terms shall remain in full force and effect.
Entire Agreement: These Terms, together with our Privacy Policy, Refund Policy and Cancellation & Rescheduling Policy, constitute the entire agreement between you and Emizhi Digital Private Limited regarding our services. They supersede all prior or contemporaneous communications, negotiations and agreements, whether oral or written (including but not limited to LinkedIn chats, WhatsApp messages or support emails).
11. Modifications and Contact Info
We reserve the right, at our sole discretion, to modify or replace these Terms at any time. If a revision is material, we will update the effective date at the top of this page. Your continued use of our services following any changes constitutes acceptance of those changes.
